TSMC to Establish New 65nm Fab in Taichung

A new 8G CF (Color Filter) plant will be set up at the New Factory Hisai in Mie prefecture. Meanwhile, a new 6G CF production line will be set up at the 6G glass substrate plant in Mie. The additions will bring Toppan Printing's monthly capacity to the equivalent of 12 million 14" units.
